I wish they had kept this in the finale. It would have made the ‘impact’ of the finale so much easier to deal with. For years, Robin denied her feelings for Ted. She thought there was nothing there… even though Ted confessed his love for her many times. And when she finale realised that she felt the same way (right before the wedding) it was too late. Ted was moving on.
And now, with hearing Robin say that Ted was always ‘more than just a friend’… argh, it makes so much sense.

FUCK THAT SCENE, JUST FUCK IT. I can’t even take this serious. This is so out of character that it’s just laughable! Robin would never say that. End of story
I’m not even gonna watch it because it’s ridiculous. Robin has always had feelings for Ted? So, i’m sorry but what’s the point of “No Pressure”? What’s the point of her being in tears in “Farhampton” because she thought she had lost Barney? What’s the point of her going on that roof in “The Final Page”? WHAT’S THE POINT OF THE WHOLE SEASON NINE? WHAT’S THE POINT OF EVERYTHING? If they really wanted to portray Robin always in love with Ted, then they should have made her act like that. But no, they made her pining and suffering over Barney and now we should stay here and accept that oh, she was in love with Ted, it was so obvious!! He stole her a blue french horn!!! ?? Hell no. That’s an insult to the viewers.
RIGHT? I couldn’t agree with you more! This is so fucking ridiculous! I can’t even take this seriously because it’s so ooc. I really ask myself more and more why they built barney and robin up all these years when they destroy EVERYTHING in the last minutes. I could rant about this forever, because we have seen thousands of scenes where it is shown how barney and robin are pining for each other and how robin refuses Ted. It’s so ridiculous what they are doing there. It makes absolutely no fucking sense and I want to slap c&c more and more every single day. Who the FUCK is so sick and creates such a sweet and perfect couple who make it from being broken people to a marriage and then tell us it was all a joke because she was in love with the stalker-guy who she refused again and again and again. Just one word: BULLSHIT
Why they built barney and robin up? Because they knew people would have loved them. No one would have watched the show because of Ted and Robin’s love-arc. They knew it and they played their game. And nothing makes me more furious than seeing Robin’s character destroyed like that. She and Ted could have gotten back together so many times but they didn’t. Robin wanted to marry Barney. Robin was happy with Barney. Robin was finally okay in being affectionate and in love with a man. She had everything. Love, friends and a career. And C&C took all of that away from her because she belonged ONLY to Ted. How fucking wrong and sick is that?
Amen to that!!! Nobody wanted to see the weird stalkerish Ted/robin relationship. And it is the sickest thing ever to destroy the couple with the greatest chemistry on Earth just to let her end up with the guy that is based on one of the writers and therefore invincible -_-
I refuse to watch this because even the title of it is OOC. If they wanted to make people accept Ted and Robin as endgame maybe don’t spend 6 seasons building a different romantic plotline for her. Make the characters both go through points where they want to get back together. It can’t just be onesided like it was. Also, maybe don’t make the final season the weekend of Robin and Barney’s wedding.
